Online Registrations for the 2018 MTBA Marathon National Championships open at 6:00pm (AEST) on Wednesday 1st November, 2017.
Online Registrations Close: 11:59pm (AEST) – Wednesday 25th April, 2018.
2017 National Champion Discounts: MTBA provide discounted entry into the 2018 Marathon National Championships for the top three (1st – 3rd) eligible riders in each recognised category of the previous championship. Riders may claim their discount when completing an online entry for the 2018 Marathon National Championships by entering their MTBA Membership Number in the ‘promotional code’ field during the online entry process. Please note: It is the entrants’ responsibility to claim their discount at the time of entering. MTBA will not issue refunds for riders who fail to validate their promotion code when entering.
Membership Requirements: To register and participate in this event, riders must hold a valid MTBA Membership at the time of registering. Please note: Membership must be valid on the date of the event for which you are registering. If your membership expires before the date of the event, you must renew your membership before entering this event. MTBA Recreation Members may upgrade to a Race Membership at anytime through the MTBA Online Services System or opt to purchase a discounted Race Day Licence Upgrade.
Late Registrations: Following the close of online registrations, entries will be accepted at the event, however attract a $25.00 Late Fee.

This event is being held at Douglas Mountain Bike Park, Townsville.
A complimentary Shuttle Bus Service with bike trailer will run daily from the Dean Street Carpark & Bus Terminal on the following schedule.
Friday: Departs Dean St at 11:30 & 12:30 and returns from Douglas at 16:00 and 17:00
Saturday: Departs Dean St at 05:30 & 06:30 and returns from Douglas at 16:00 and 17:00
Sunday:Departs Dean St at 05:30 & 06:30 and returns from Douglas at 15:00 and 16:00

The Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) has been notified of this event, and may conduct random testing during the Mountain Bike Australia Cross-Country National Championships.
To ensure that you are adequately informed on testing procedures, please read the guidelines provided by ASADA here. Please note that blood samples may be required along with standard urine samples.
