MTB Schools Program Hits The Alice

Posted by jo-2, November 12, 2019
The inaugural Mountain Bike Program based at Ross Park Primary School in Alice Springs started Tuesday 5th November with 18 students from Years 1-5 participated.

It was a gradual introduction for the students with a 6km ride to Telegraph Station and back followed by breakfast.

As a pilot program this term it is running for five weeks and all riders have signed up as MTBA members to participate.

Each session students will learn a bike skill and then ride off road on 4WD tracks or single track depending on their experience and skill level.

If you have any questions contact Georgina Landy NT Participation Officer on 0414 091 533 or georgina.landy@mtba.org.au.
