Australian Jack Moir (Canyon Collective) claimed a top five finish at the first round of the 2020 Enduro World Series in Zermatt, Switzerland over the weekend.
The blue skies and picture postcard views enjoyed earlier in the week at the famous Swiss venue turned into rain, thunder storms and even snow which saw race reduced to only two stages on the Sunday.
Moir would finish fifth in both stages seeing him place fourth overall in his first ever EWS race.
Canadian Jessie Melmead would claim overall honours.
The series now heads to Italy and a brand new venue, Pietra Ligure, on the stunning Italian Riviera. Hosting a round of both EWS and EWS-E, the event is open to pro riders only and takes place on across the weekend of September 19-20.
