Australia’s Natalie Redmond has finished 31st at the first round of the Jingle Cross World Cup in Iowa City, United States.
Redmond, who has been in the States racing on the road during the Australian cross season, lined up in the international field of 43 for the six laps.
The Australian admitted after the race on social media she failed to find the consistency on course.
The race was won by Canadian Maghalie Rochette with veteran Katerina Nash in silver and American Clara Honsinger on the fina step of the podium.
Redmond now heads to the next round of the World Cup at Waterloo, Wisconsin.
