Mountain Bike Australia Ltd (MTBA) is pleased to announce Tony Hancock has been re-elected as Chair of MTBA.
Mr Hancock, who was elected as interim Chair by the Board during the first meeting of MTBA Ltd earlier this year, was re-elected at the Board meeting held on the Gold Coast recently.
Mr Hancock has over 20 years experience as a business and marketing consultant with numerous high profiled organisations and a long association with mountain biking in Queensland.
“I once again thank the other Directors for their vote of confidence in me. I am proud of what mountain biking has to offer, in the community, in competition and as an economic asset”
“There are numerous ways to be more involved with MTBA. Whilst employment or a volunteer Board position are avenues, there are also the Management Advisory Commissions that have recently been formed to ensure the staff and Board have the best advice from those with the best knowledge in the market,” Mr Hancock said.
The 2017 Annual General Meeting will be held on 29 October on the Gold Coast.
Mr Hancock will remain Chair until the first Board meeting after the AGM.
The meeting also welcomed MTBA’s first appointed directors, Lee Brentzell, Lisa Morisset and April Rich who bring a diverse set of professional skills to the MTBA Board.
