Australia’s downhill riders have put the mud and slop they encountered at the UCI Mountain BIke World Championships in Leogang Austria behind them and focused their attention on back to back World Cups in Maribor, Slovenia this weekend.
The likes of Troy Brosnan, Jack Moir, who both finished inside the top 10 in elite men, along with Kye A’Hern, Mick Hannah and junior Luke Meier-Smith are enjoying the drier conditions.
All the above riders finished inside the Top 20 after the first time training session was held overnight.
Tracey Hannah, who missed a podium by one spot in Leogang is also ready to bounce back and defend the Overall Title she won last year.
The first race will be held on Friday with riders alloted an extra day of practice on Saturday before the second race on Sunday on a slightly altered course.
