Aussies Qualify Top 10

Four Australian downhillers qualified in the top ten ahead of Sunday’s finals at the 2020 UCI Mercedes Benz Mountain Bike World Championships in Leogang, Austria on Saturday.

Tracey Hannah (AUS) finished two seconds behind home town favourite  Val Holl who stopped the clock at 4:35:662.

With the forecast for Sunday which suggests Leogang is set for a decent dump of snow overnight and through the day the UCI back up plan for Sunday should it be too bad to race is use the today’s seeding runs to determine the results.

The multiple Australian champion wily enough to leave something in reserve.

In the Elite Men, Jack Moir put himself in 6th place with last years silver medallist Troy Brosnan one spot behind.

Australian junior men’s champion Luke Meier-Smith recoverd from a crash in his run to finish seventh after their morning qualifying run.
