Race Day Licence

A Race Day Licence will provide you with Personal Accident & Public Liability insurance for the duration of a MTB event/activity.

Events run by affiliated MTBA Clubs and Private Promoters offer Race Day Licences for non-MTBA members through event entry systems and on-the-day purchases.

^ Day licences can also be purchased for MTB Races held in Australia by non-affiliated organisers through the web store.

Race Day Licence Options
MTBA Recreation Membership Upgrade		$15.00 per event/activity
Junior Non-Member Race Day Licence	3 – 18 years	From $22.00 per event/activity ^
Adult Non-Member Race Day Licence	19+ years	From $36.00 per event/activity ^
* Discounted Race Day Licence (BMXA, CA, TA Members)		$15.00 per event/activity

* Discounted Race Day Licences are available to BMX Australia, Cycling Australia & Triathlon Australia Members who hold a valid membership as at the date of the event. CA, BMXA and TA members can purchase a discounted Race Day Licence through the web store. If the event you are entering charges a full price Race Day Licence as part of your entry, please contact MTBA via info@mtba.org.au and we’ll happily process a refund.

Member Benefits

Personal Accident Insurance – 24/7 cover whenever you’re on your bike (for the duration of the event), including non-medicare medical expenses.
Public Liability Insurance – 24/7 cover whenever you’re on your bike (for the duration of the event) up to a maximum of $20,000,000.

Please note: With the introduction of the 2017/2018 Insurance Program which commenced 14 December 2017, income protection is no longer provided for Free Trial members and Day Licence holders.
