NT High-Performance Officiating Program

Thanks to support from the Northern Territory Government, Big Rivers BMX Clubs’ Sue Sinclair, and Satellite City BMX’s Daniel Shean, began their journey on the 2021 NTIS’s High Performance Officiating Program this month.
The 4th year of the program sees Sue and Daniel join Officials from 7 other sports to upskill their Officiating credentials.

HutSix Partnership

AusCycling NT is excited to welcome HutSix as the major partner of the 2021 NT BMX Series, and the 2021 NT BMX Championships. This sponsorship embeds HutSix as the major supporter of BMX throughout this part of Australia as they also support South Australia by being major partners of the BMX SA State Championships and BMX SA State Series.

HutSix is one of the Northern Territory’s leading software development companies, creating custom software solutions and systems for organisations big and small across the country. Their team of eight supports a wide multitude of corporate organisations and community groups by streamlining systems and improving the functionality of workplaces.

BMX has a place close in HutSix’s heart, with over half of the team being involved in the sport at a local level in Alice Springs at the Red Centre BMX Club.

HutSix CEO Brad Bellette is “looking forward to continuing the strong relationship that is felt between the NT and SA BMX Clubs and associated bodies. I’m excited to contribute to the strategic direction of these major events, and help increase the greater public awareness of the inclusive sport of BMX.”

The first round of the 2021 HutSix Northern Territory BMX Series State Series kicks off in April.

Clubs will generally run Come and Try sessions for free or a small charge.  Even if you don’t have a bike, some clubs will provide equipment.

So dust off the BMX, MTB, fixie or hybrid, bring your friends and find out what is going on in your area this weekend.
