Level 0 MTB Skills Instructor Course | Bright, Victoria | April 2019

We are contacting you as you have expressed interest in attending a Level 0 MTB Skills Instructor Course.  There is an opportunity to run a Level 0 Course during the 2019 MTBA National Championships being held at Bright, Victoria from the 4th-8th April with the course to be held on either Sat 6th OR Sun 7th April 2019.
MTBA is canvassing to see if there is sufficient demand for this course, we would need 5 - 6 people interested prior to opening registrations.  The cost of the course is $240 per person, participants need to be a current financial member of MTBA. Free trial, community members and day licences are not accepted.

The L0 MTB Skills Instructor Course is 1-day course, which is the entry point to the MTBA coaching pathway and is aimed at parents, clubs and teachers who want to learn the basics of group management, risk assessment and skills teaching techniques. Participants successfully completing the course will be equipped to lead beginner group rides and assist Level 1 Instructors in delivering basic skills instruction session.
The course would involve completion of the pre-course readings and worksheets prior to attending, and successful completion of the course components.  To finalise your accreditation, instructors need to hold a current Working with Children Check relevant to your state or territory and a current First Aid Certificate - Provide First Aid HLTAID 003 or higher (can be submitted post course).
